Trend Alert: Purple Reigns For Fall

Throw caution to the wind this fall and leave all your black, browns and grey in the closet. This fall and winter season is all about bold, vibrant color.  And purple reigns supreme.

Purple is a polarizing color in fashion — usually found as an accent here or there. However, all shades of purple are taking center stage on runways and street style. From pastel lilacs to deep berry, purple coats, dresses, dusters, handbags and accessories are everywhere. Lavender, violet, lilac, oh my! And yes, I am all the way here for it!

I fully embrace this trend and went all in during New York Fashion Week for Curvy Noire. As the panel moderator, I wanted to be cute and unique. My purple monochromatic look for TiKeDi was a hit. TiKeDi is a black-owned designer based in Atlanta. The brands signature aesthetic is distressed and shredded clothing.  I’m a huge fan. I found matching opaque tights on Amazon, and the perfect fascinator at my local beauty supply store.

Purple was by far the standout hue on the F/W 19 runways. Practically every designer had a touch of this royal color in their collections. And Cardi B (my birthday twin!) proved purple reigns for real in this showstopper look from Nicolas Jebran during Paris Fashion Week. Sis slayed this entire ensemble.

Nice post! Every time I land on your post, I see some cool interesting ideas. I am in love with your fashion style. I loved your fashion sense in this post and your accessories as well. Everything from your outfit, rings, earrings to your shoes was on point. I would love to try these outfits and styles with my piercing jewelry. With the changing trends, everyone is now highly inclined towards the Belly Button Piercing as well. Thank you so much for the lovely post.
