Animal prints have dominated the fashion scene for a couple of seasons now. Leopard, snake, zebra, snakeskin and tiger prints are EVERYWHERE . It’s also on everything from head scarves to high heels and on just about every piece of clothing and accessory you can think of.
So, it was inevitable that wearing animal print from head-to-toe would be the next logical style grabbing trend. And I am all the way here for it.
However, prints in general can be tricky to wear allover. Even more so when trying to style them from collar to calf. Going full animal kingdom in an ensemble can be intimidating as hell. If not executed right, prints can overwhelm your entire ensemble, making your look go from stylish to tacky. But when done right, you could be the Queen of the Animal Kingdom.
Here, I paired this lovely JIBRI leopard print jumpsuit with shoes of a very similar pattern for a seamless look. I’ve had the shoes for over a decade and thought they paired nicely with the jumpsuit. I added a fur stole and my Matelasse Monogram YSL Wallet on Chain to complete this bold and fierce look.
Kim Kardashian was recently spotted wearing a full on leopard print ensemble while in Paris recently. Her entire look is a vintage Azzedine Alaia, who built his entire Fall 1991 collection around cheetah knitwear. It’s a great example of what goes around comes around.
