Go Glam for New Year’s Eve In Sequins & Fur

Sequins & Fur For New Years Eve

Looking for the perfect ensemble for that formal New Year’s Eve party you’ve been invited to? Well, I advise you go glam in sequins and fur. That’s right, pull out the sequins and toss a fur over your shoulders for an outfit that is both chic and festive. There is no better way to ring in the New Year than full on glam!

A lover of all things sequins, I think they can be worn year round. But during the holidays are when sequins shine brightest. Sequin pants are a great alternative to the typical holiday dress or skirt. They are a fun way to add a little element of surprise to any outfit.

There is absolutely no question in my mind that these pants from SimplyBe.com were made for New Year’s Eve. I love the wide legs and the relaxed fit. They paired so well with the black tuxedo jacket from the Tracee Ellis Ross collection at JCPenney. The cut  and fit of the jacket are pure perfection. The satin lapels give it a luxe feel and the single button at the waist creates the illusion of a smaller waistline. I added a bronze buckle Gucci belt with bronze embellishments along the full length of the leather.

The focal point of this look is by far the three tier fur stole with tails. It automatically adds another level of glam. I bought it in NYC and it’s a fave winter accessory of this native Floridian who never saw a need for much outerwear before leaving the Sunshine State.

Celebrating New Year’s Eve In Charlotte

I will be ringing in the new year in Charlotte. My husband and I are hanging out with our friend Peter Thomas at his Club One lounge. Tonight’s special guest is none other than the King of Bass Music Luther Campbell who is sure to bring that Miami heat. And remember, whatever it is you want to accomplish in 2018, don’t stop get it, get it!

Happy New Year Y’all!

    Don’t stop rock wit it!

I’m not going anywhere tonight glamorous enough for sequins and fur but I do have sequined pants from Shop Brown Sugar Collection (which I know of because of you) that I have worn to a jazz event earlier this year! All of the pieces you’ve put together here look fab together. Take that fur off before you start dancing to Uncle Luke though!
