The Color Purple

The color purple combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. It is often associated with power, ambition, luxury and royalty. I felt all these things when I wrapped myself in this gorgeous dress from Eloquii.

There is something mysterious and extravagant about the color purple that has always attracted me to this bold hue. So when I saw this beautiful two-tone wrap dress I knew I had to have it. The dress is sleek and sexy. It exudes a sense of nobility and stature. I wanted the dress (and the vibrancy of the color) to be the highlight of this look so the accessories are kept to a bare minimum. It’s paired it with purple suede peep-toe platform sandals and a deep burgundy clutch. The fit and flare design is perfect for women with curves as it accentuates the waist and compliments the hips. Wrap dresses are generally pretty forgiving on all body types and are one of the most versatile clothing items any woman can own.

 

With this particular dress, you can add a pussy-bow top underneath this one for a different look or even toss a leather moto jacket over your shoulders for an edgier look. The velvet fabric gives the dress a luxurious feel and right on trend. If there is one thing I would change about this fantastic dress, it would definitely be the length. I probably would have preferred it stop right above or right at the knee for a more flirty fashion statement. Otherwise, this two-tone beauty in the color purple is pretty close to perfect.
