How To Wear Blush Pink & Flirty Fringe In Winter

When I think of fringe in fashion, my mind immediately envisions dusty blankets and Woodstock boho style. However, when incorporated into your look appropriately, it can add a bit of drama and femininity to your entire ensemble. Take this amazing (and affordable) blush pink and fringe mini skirt from Elvi. How adorable is it?

The blush color is light and lofty. But the black elastic waistband, which totally minimizes my midsection, anchors the look making it less “girly girl.” I was a little worried about the length when I ordered it, thinking it might be a little too short for my comfort. I was pleasantly surprised that it hit slightly above my knee making it a fun option for my professional workplace.

Less is more when wearing fringe, unless of course you are going for a retro look. I kept this look pretty simpleby pairing the skirt with a long sleeved black mock turtleneck and a matching blush moto jacket from Forever21. The fringe/tassel detailing in the skirt adds enough dimension and texture to make this simple classic look a little more interesting and flirty! And the entire look was less than $100 minus the handbag. You can’t beat that!

Have I shared how much I have fallen in love with Elvi Clothing? I’ve known about the brand for a few years, but never ordered anything from them until recently. I am sold and they have a new unofficial “brand ambassador” in me. Their clothing is well made and their prices are very affordable. Elvi’s sales are damn near epic. Catch one and you will lose your mind and all your money.

I hope you will be inspired by this pretty in pink look. Blush pink may not be everyone’s favorite color but it works well when mixed with other shades like black, chocolate. olive and navy. As an accent shade, blush works with both warm and cool colors as well.

Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season!
