If my husband decides to file for divorce, it will be all because of Eloquii. Period. Why? Because I have been cheating on my husband with the brand for far too long, and although I know it’s wrong, I don’t want to be right. LOL!
All jokes aside, I am totally obsessed with Eloquii and the amazing fashions they offer the professional woman who still enjoys being trendy and fun. Ever fashion forward in the new selections they seem to pump out almost daily, coupled with the weekly sales and promotions that allow consumers to enjoy tremendous savings, makes Eloquii one of my top 3 brands for clothing.
Since its relaunch in 2014 after closing shop in 2011 (much to the chagrin of its loyal customers), Eloquii has come out the gate offering some of the most amazing trend-focused casual wear and professional workwear for the plus/curvy woman. And I can honestly say, every third item in my closet is a piece from the brand. That’s says a lot about how much the brand influences and contributes to my style.
I love prints and bold colors, and Eloquii never disappoints in these categories. Take this dress for instance, it features both those elements and is cut for the perfect fit for the curvy fashionista. The high-waisted skirt offers an awesome slimming affect and the button-down top adds a hint of sexiness. I love the butterflies (which in fact were featured greatly as part of my wedding theme) in the print and the red/purple colors that are prominent on the dress. I played up the purple by pairing the dress with this great deep purple bag from Rebecca Minkoff and matching open toe platform sandals by Jessica Simpson. I think the look came together perfectly.
I don’t, however, think the Eloquii website photo (here) of the dress does it much justice because at first glance it looks like a straight shirt dress, of which it is not. If you are looking for a fashion-forward dress that, with the right accessorizing, can be worn pretty much year round (especially if you leave in the South where winter lasts about 30 minutes), I would highly recommend purchasing this dress and a few others (here), (here) and (here).
I really hope you enjoyed this post and the look featured here. Pray that my addiction to Eloquii doesn’t actually cost me my marriage as I believe there is enough room in it for me, my husband and my beau! LOL! As always, thanks for stopping by!
Love,
