Contrary to popular belief, I have NOT always been a girly girl. I am a tomboy at heart, always have been and always will be. I was a tough little girl and I have the battle scars to prove it. Those days are behind me THANK GOD! But I can still master a pretty dynamic forward flip on a trampoline (more on that later!)
However, I embrace all things girly now and there are a few beauty products that I simply can NOT live without. And because I love these items, I wanted to share them with you, the #FreeHive (my friend Corinthia coined the hashtag for my loyal followers!)
Without further ado, here are my Top 5 beauty must-haves.
My Top 5 Beauty Must-Haves
NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation
The absolute BEST foundation I have ever worn, Hands DOWN! I’ve tried several foundations over the years from the drugstore to luxury brands and none have ever quite been as perfect as the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. I wear with a primer and it lasts all day long without ever needing the slightest touch up. While NARS suggests one pump for full coverage, I generally use 4 to 5, as it takes that many for me to achieve the coverage that I like. The foundation doesn’t cake up on my skin and is extremely easy to evenly apply. The color Macao is a perfect match to my complexion, and what I love most is the smooth matte coverage it provides. I never really feel like I am wearing foundation with this product, and makes my skin look INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend this foundation.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick
I was attracted to the Kat Von D brand because of this reddish-orange liquid lipstick. Orange, with red undertones, is my favorite lip color and the color A Go-Go from this brand is currently my favorite color. It’s what I am wearing in the picture above. This lipstick glides on easily, is heavily pigmented and drys to a perfect matte finish. I find that it doesn’t last as long as I would prefer, but the color payoff is well worth the re-application.
Boscia Clear Complexion Cleanser
I LOVE this cleanser. It is far more superior than any other cleanser I have ever used. It’s very gentle, but powerful enough to remove all the residue left behind by my makeup. And as someone who wears makeup EVERYDAY, I needed a cleanser that left my face feeling fresh and renewed after every wash. I also feel like the Boscia Clear Complexion Cleanser, couple with their balancing toner, has improved the overall evenness of my complexion. I am so glad I discovered this awesome product! Give it a try as I am sure you won’t be disappointed!
Boscia Balancing Facial Toner
The only toner I have ever used that doesn’t dry out my skin or make it feel too tight! Honestly, I find all kinds of joy in washing my face because of Boscia products. This brand makes me feel like I have a personal spa in my home. The toner is refreshing and makes my face feel soft and supple. The best part? Both the cleanser and the toner work PERFECT with my Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel.
Eucerin Advanced Repair Lotion
I’m an alligator. At least, that’s what my skin says. Besides that, I am a native Floridian and I love to swim. Just so happens I probably have the driest skin in all of America. LOL! My skin is extremely dry and to #CombatTheAsh, I keep a cabinet full of Eucerin Advanced Repair Lotion. This is a very thick emollient formula that moisturizes the skin all day long, and provides a high shine. This Godsend of a product moisturizes, exfoliates and conditions to repair my very dry skin. I even carry a small bottle in my purse as a backup for those dry moments that my occur during the day.
In Conclusion …
So there you have it! These products are NikkiFree Certified and used by me on a daily basis. If you decide to purchase and use any of my faves listed here, please share your thoughts with me! If you already use any of these items, leave a comment below sharing what you like or don’t like about them. I look forward to the feedback!
