It’s no secret that I love Gucci. What Alessandro Michele is doing for the luxury fashion house is amazing, and because of the new classic but funky feel, I have invested in a few new pieces from the GucciGhost collection.

This beautiful blue and red shawl in the GucciGhost print is simply divine. It’s 85% modal and 15% silk which combines to create a very soft and silky canvas. I wanted to immediately pair it with an all white ensemble letting the scarf be the focal point of the look. I also knew I wanted to further accessorize with my red Gucci XL leather mini bag. BAM! Red, White & Gucci was born.

I am working on a series of posts featuring all white looks that you can wear after Labor Day. I was born and raised in the South, and after a few years in California, I am back in South. Here, that “No White After Labor Day” Rule is still the official 11th Commandment. No ifs, ands, or buts about it and most of the rule followers have no idea that this “trend” wasn’t born in the South (more on that in the series). But I think any girl who would give up all her cute and feminine white tops, skirts and frocks because of some antiquated fashion rule is NUTS! Stay Tuned …..

As always, thanks for stopping by! I hope you were inspired! xoxo

Fashionably Yours,
